Fees & Payments
River City Hornets is not for profit and therefore we are funded entirely by fees payable each season. Our fees cover the costs of:
Court hire for training
Uniforms and equipment
Team nominations and game fees (courts & referees).
Family discounts are applied automatically when registering through Basketball connect: 2 kids 5% discount, 3+ kids 10% discount of season fees.
South West Metro (SWM) and Basketball Queensland (BQ) payments cover insurance and admin costs. All players must be registered with River City Hornets to be allocated to a team prior to the season starting. Players and teams will have to forfeit the game if they are not registered when their fixtures start.

Players who sign up and pull out for change of mind will be charged a $100 administration fee. We encourage players to only sign up if they are 100% committed to playing the entire season, The creation of our teams can be hugely affected by even one player pulling out.
